Michael Baldemor
Michael has been with Treyburn Country Club since 2006 as the Director of Tennis. Michael grew up in Centerville, Ohio. He went to College at Wright State in Dayton on scholarship. He studied and graduated with a degree in Financial Services.
After college, Michael worked at several high end clubs including some regional notables of Hope Valley Country Club and Old North State. Michael has been involved with the United Sates Professional Tennis Association for fifteen years and has earned several education awards and served on the North Carolina USPTA Board as Treasurer. Michael received his Professional 1 credentials in 2001. Through his association with USPTA and working with these notable clubs, Michael has been involved in a variety of programs in the area from Pro-Am Tournaments to Charity events.
Michael enjoys teaching and coaching all levels of players and likes exposing them to his different tennis programs including Quickstart and Cardio Tennis.
Michael has been married for six years to wife Melissa and enjoys spending time with their two children Alexis and Luke.
Kyle Thortsen
Kyle Thortsen, Assistant Tennis Professional. Kyle comes to the Treyburn team from Charlotte, NC where he worked 5 years as an assistant teaching professional for Trimp Tennis, the largest and most successful tennis contracting company in Charlotte. Kyle received a sports management degree from Catawba College where he was on scholarship to play collegiate tennis for 4 years. Kyle is a certified U.S.P.T.A. professional that is determined to make Treyburn Tennis the best in the Triangle.
